This Copyright and Intellectual Property (IP) Policy outlines the ownership, licensing, and usage rights associated with the content, designs, templates, software, and services provided through the Connect+ platform, operated under Digit Etcetera and Fusion Digi. It also governs the rights and responsibilities of users, clients, PRO service providers, and affiliates.

By using our services, you agree to the terms and provisions outlined in this policy.

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All content developed by Connect+, including but not limited to:

- Website interface and backend software
- Core system templates and layout designs
- Interactive modules, components, codebases, and mobile views
- Pre-built user interface elements, color schemes, and UI/UX frameworks

...are the intellectual property of Connect+, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized copying, modification, resale, or distribution of these assets is strictly prohibited.

2. User-Generated Content

a. Ownership by Users

Users retain full ownership over content they upload into their digital vCards, including:

- Personal details and business descriptions
- Profile photos, logos, and contact information
- Multimedia content such as images, videos, PDFs, and custom files
- Any other content manually added by the user or on their behalf

However, by uploading content, users grant Connect+ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global license to host, display, process, and distribute this content within the scope of the services being used.

b. Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any content they upload does not infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.

3. Templates and Inspired Designs

a. System Templates

Connect+ offers a variety of pre-built and customizable templates. Some templates may be inspired by common industry styles or publicly available layouts. These are considered Connect+ original compilations, and users may use them under a non-transferable, non-exclusive license for their own vCard purposes only.

Copying or reproducing these templates outside of the Connect+ system, especially for resale, is strictly prohibited.

b. Inspired Reproductions (Done-For-You)

When a user requests that Connect+ replicate or recreate an external design (inspired from a third-party card, personal site, or design sample), the following apply:

- The user must declare that they have the right to request such reproduction.
- Connect+ does not claim ownership of the original design but reserves the right to create a new original layout inspired by the reference, and such derivative template may be offered to other users.
- Any design created through the Done-For-You service becomes part of Connect+’s system, and the user is granted usage rights but not exclusive ownership.

However, by uploading content, users grant Connect+ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global license to host, display, process, and distribute this content within the scope of the services being used.

4. PRO Reseller and Partner Submissions

a. Work-for-Client Model

Templates or designs created by PRO Service Providers or Connect+ Partners for their clients using the Connect+ platform:

- Are considered part of the Connect+ system environment.
- May be offered as base templates for other users unless a separate exclusivity contract is signed.

b. IP Contribution Acknowledgment

By submitting or building a template under the PRO ecosystem, resellers and partners agree that:

- All such designs are co-owned or fully owned by Connect+, unless exclusivity has been paid for and documented.
- Connect+ retains the right to modify, distribute, and offer those templates to other users under general access or subscription.

5. Third-Party Tools and Integrations

Connect+ may integrate third-party services, APIs, or plugins (e.g., booking tools, analytics widgets, payment gateways). These are:

- Governed by their respective license terms
- Not under Connect+ copyright unless customized
- May require the user to accept additional third-party legal terms

6. Trademarks and Brand Use

- The Connect+ name, logo, and service marks are trademarks owned by Digit Etcetera and Fusion Digi.
- You may not use the Connect+ brand, logos, or marks without prior written consent, except as granted under official partner or affiliate agreements.

7. Infringement Reporting

If you believe that any content or design on the Connect+ platform infringes upon your copyrights or IP:

- Submit a written notice to: support@connectplus.vc
- Include evidence of ownership and a clear description of the allegedly infringing content.

Connect+ will review and respond in compliance with applicable copyright laws and our internal policies.

8. Termination for IP Violations

Violation of this policy may result in:

- Immediate suspension or termination of account access
- Removal of infringing content
- Legal action or financial liability for damages, if applicable

9. Changes to This Policy

Connect+ reserves the right to update or revise this Copyright & IP Policy at any time.
Users will be notified of material changes via the platform or email.
